An exciting opportunity has arisen to support lunchtimes at Little Bowden School in Market Harborough. We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who enjoys supporting and developing children’s curiosity, resilience and love of learning. 
The governors at Little Bowden School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to support pupils whilst eating in the lunch hall and during outside play.  
 
We are looking for someone 
With experience of working with children 
Who is patient, caring and creative 
Who is able to work well in a team 
 
6 ¼ hours per week (11:45 – 1pm) Monday to Friday. 
£12.85 per hour pro rata

The governors at Little Bowden School are seeking to appoint a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils. Working as a member of our dedicated education team, you will be required to provide support to pupils and class teachers during lesson time.

 

We are looking for someone

·       With Experience of working with children with challenging and complex special needs 

·       With a good level of literacy and numeracy

The governors at Little Bowden School are seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. Working as a member of our dedicated education team, you will be required to prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes as part of a regular PPA session or to cover absences. It also involves monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on pupil development, progress and attainment.

Are you passionate about creating a safe, structured and enjoyable environment for pupils during lunchtime? We are seeking a dedicated Midday Manager to lead and develop our team of Midday Supervisors, ensuring the health, safety, welfare and security of all pupils during the midday break. 
 
About the Role 
As Midday Manager, you will play a key role in managing lunchtime operations, coordinating staff and ensuring pupils are supported in line with their individual needs. You’ll work closely with the Head Teacher, teaching staff and other professionals to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment. 

Key Responsibilities 
Lead and organise the team of Midday Supervisors to ensure effective lunchtime coverage. 
Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, promoting safe and respectful behaviour. 
Develop and implement activity, sport, and games schedules for pupils. 
Respond to and report accidents and incidents in line with school policies. 
Ensure staff are familiar with and adhere to school policies, including behaviour and safeguarding. 
Liaise with professionals such as dieticians and physiotherapists to support pupils’ individual needs. 

What We’re Looking For 
Strong leadership and organisational skills. 
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting. 
Ability to manage behaviour and respond calmly to incidents. 
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. 
Flexibility to attend training and meetings outside normal hours when required.
